If you are in China, you can help shut down restaurant(s) that sell cat / dog meat!
HOW TO REPORT
Report hotline only deal with request in Chinese, so if you don’t speak Chinese, you can get some help from your Chinese friends or family.
Please make sure you have the following information:
Name & detailed address of the restaurant(s)
Take photos of the menu proving there is cat / dog meat dishes on the menu(s), or signs of advertising dog/cat meat
Do this only if you feel comfortable and safe doing
Use a hidden camera or voice recorder, record a short conversation with the waiter/waitress asking if they sell cat / dog meat and don’t forget to create chances to mention the name of the restaurant(s).

File a report for illegal cat / dog meat dishes in the restaurant(s) that you visited, and you believe that the source of the meat is unknown and illegal.
If the restaurant(s) shows a certificate when questioned by relevant department (Food & Drug Administration) you reported to, follow up your report and ask them to check if the certificate is valid according to law and regulations.
- Once received a reply from the Food & Drug Administration Office, find out the issue date, procedure and duration, follow-up investigation results in time;
- Request hard copy of report receipt and record;
- Revisit the restaurant(s) to check the result;
- Repeat the report if the result isn’t satisfying.
